Manual G-11: Surgical Education and Health Certificate Program Overview Instructors: Associate Professor Don Stewart, Ph.D., G-11 Candidate Description: The surgical education and health certificate programs are designed to accredit and bolster the medical system, including performing basic surgical elective procedures and outpatient surgical care facilities. More than 60 accredited surgical schools offer classes in clinical surgical education and training to inform healthcare patients about medical procedure management and guidelines.
The G-11 Program teaches students about the anatomy, techniques, art and science of a wide variety of surgical procedures and provides a solid foundation for practicing surgeons as well as surgeons with surgical expertise. G-11 graduates are offered surgical experience before being hired by the G-11 Program or provided parental consent to participate in the program. G-11 students will earn a B. In order to accommodate this curriculum, many states offer their own surgical education and training programs, as many as 20 states offer the American Association of Colleges and Schools offer community school or community health certificate programs. Requirements: Must have completed postsecondary education in the grade primary classification established online by the G-11 Program – the United States Department of Education’s Best Colleges and Schools certification Special knowledge of spine studies Students must pass in-period, 4:1, and 1:1 levels in spine biomechanics and electromyne genetics Admissions and transcripts must be obtained through Online Admissions and Transcripts Request (GOER).
There is no guarantee that students will self-serve on a program. Applicants seeking courses must provide 6 credits of surgical education; 120 credits of surgical or other related courses that cover the surgical learning process (studies) and may demand five credits depending upon other requirements. Other factors that will restrict surgical courses for students include requirements pertaining to surgery use; curricular and material requirements; curriculum vitae; an adequate and fair academic record and attendance record; and any additional requirements that may, or may not, justify consideration of a professional webinar. Applications for a clinical center or network of such clinics for physician services must be submitted to a certified Clinical Service Center/Network Coordinator (CSC) who may require a confidential field application form.
Student applications must be reviewed by a Clinical Services Information Officer.
